How the DrivingSales Innovation Cup works

1. During the open application period any solution provider can apply by completing the entry form to explain their dealership innovation.
2. Once the application are collected, the company and product names are removed so the judges can evaluate each application based on the merits of their innovation, not the reputation of the company presenting.
3. The dealer judges select the 5 innovations they view as the most innovative that they would want at their dealerships.
4. Each finalist gets 5 minutes on stage to present their innovation to three dealer judges. When the 5 min buzzer goes off the judges have 4 minutes to question the presenter.
5. Ten judges, thee onstage and seven in the audience, score each of the presentations on the same 1-30 point scale. The vendor with the most points is awarded the Innovation Cup and the designation “The Most Innovative Solution of the Year.”
